Destroying My Own World

Chapter 146 True Love.

Chapter 146 True Love.

The Virtue Guild had become the face of the world since they were the ones who created the Guild League. There were five other guilds that could stand on an equal footing with the Virtue Guild. Those were the Pantheon, Cloud Nine, Juxtapose, Immortal, and Redhsield.

The Cloud Nine's leader was Lei Wu Xian and he was chosen by the Jade Emperor himself, a powerful deity in Chinese Mythology. Jade Emperor was a being that could be on par with Odin and Zeus, and he was the master of all things. With that being said, Lei Wu Xian received that gift and became a master in magic and hand combat.

Juxtapose's leader was Sun Wukong, and after he lost his staff, rumor said that he was given a gift by the Jade Emperor a new one. A staff that was stronger that could even kill a Primordial God, and he became a close friend with Lei Wu Xian.

Immortal's leader was Han Suk-Jin, and after his embarrassment of losing to Rozan's dragons, he was given a new skill by Yeomra. Not only could he summon immortal warriors, but he could also summon fragments and illusions of the ten Kings of the Underworld and their armies.

The Guild League appeared to be the most dominant compared to the European Union, Asia Union, and African Union. Although that was the case, there was one guild that could match them that appeared out of nowhere, and it was called Eurasia.

The Eurasia guild was the biggest guild in the world with a total of a thousand Chosen Ones that were led by five women. Adelheid, Yu Xi, Arya Alani, Ella Ceres, and Aleksandra Ingrida, those women had something in common, their patrons shared the same name, Mara. The guild covered the whole of Europe and Asia which was why they called it Eurasia since those five were from different countries.

The Eurasia Guild had become the bridge between the Guild League and the three Unions. It made things easier for everyone because of the Eurasia Guild and the United Nations was their supporter. A guild that kept the balance between the Guild League and the three Unions.

The Gods of Earth had decided to fully support humans because of the current situation. They knew that demons had walked among humans, and yet they couldn't do anything about it or warn them. The Rule of the World bound them and made them hard to get involved directly.

Eurasia and the Guild League held more power than the three Unions, so those two helped them to clear the portals. In just a week, they had cleared five floors inside the four portals around the world. It went smoothly and they decided to help South America by clearing the portal and taking back the countries from the demons.

"It appears level doesn't matter anymore for them. Their skills are enough to help them clear the portals," Lyneth said as she watched the news as little Sasha sat on her lap. "Maybe they could save the world in a year, or even less than that. They're really amazing," Lyneth added.

"They sure are, but they're digging an empty hole," Mykel said as he looked at the new tattoo on his left wrist. A simple triangle tattoo with vines wrapped around it, and that was the tattoo that they all had decided to get. Everyone had a matching tattoo on their wrist and in the same location. "The demons they're going to kill are among them, so their effort will be fruitless," Mykel continued.

"That's true," Lyneth said and hummed in agreement. "But, if we kill all of them, doesn't that mean our mission will be over?" Lyneth asked as she kissed little Sasha's head.

"I don't think it would be that easy, especially killing Lucifer would be hard to do. Lilith was strong enough to fight me back then, and Lucifer should be a lot stronger than her," Mykel answered as he caressed little Sasha's head.

"Welcome back, mother!" Little Sasha said with a big smile on her face.

"Sasha..." Hera said in a trembling voice as she went down to her knees and made herself small so she could hug her. "Come here, sweetheart," Hera opened her arms as she was glimmering in tears.

Sasha jumped down from Mykel's arms and then hugged Hera so tightly as she cried in her arms. Hera couldn't hold her tears and she started to sob in happiness to be able to hug little Sasha again.

While Hera was too occupied with hugging little Sasha, she heard a thud in front of her, and then she saw Mykel was on his knees smiling at her. Little Sasha turned around and realized it was Mykel's turn to hug Hera, and the moment she moved away Hera pounced at Mykel and wrapped her arms around Mykel's neck.

Mykel could feel Hera's racing heartbeat and she was so happy to see him again, and she took her time to remember the scent of his body. All the fragments of memories that she got, felt like a sweet dream to her, a dream that she wanted to relive.

"I miss you," Hera said.

"You're not the only one," Mykel answered as he caressed Hera's smooth hair. "I'm sorry that it took so long for me to pick you up," Mykel said.

Hera shook her head and kept hugging him so tightly. She couldn't speak because of how happy she was.

"I'm not going anywhere, so why don't you play with Sasha first? I'll be here, and I'm not going anywhere," Mykel said.

Hera nodded her head as she sniffled, and then Mykel wiped off the tears on her face. She then went to play with Sasha in the garden of hers that she loved so much.

"As far as I have observed, the only ones that truly love you are Lyneth, Jeanne, Elena, Hera, and Beldathiel. I wonder what true love means, and why is it so painful and relief to see such emotion affect people like that," Amaryllis said as she watched Hera and little Sasha play with animals.

"You might be able to experience it yourself one day, and when you do, you can tell me the answer," Mykel said as he stood up.

"If Elena can love you as a man, can I do the same thing?" Amaryllis asked.

Mykel turned around and looked at Amaryllis for quite a while, and then he answered, "You're free to choose, and you can love anyone you want, including me."
