sasha was still in disbelief when she stared at mykel's hand that was holding her hand and guiding her somewhere. she pressed his hand it felt real which made her fluster and couldn't hide her smile. she had forgotten how comfortable it was to hold his hand and how he always took the lead wherever they were.

mykel brought sasha into his office and let her take a seat on the sofa as he poured a glass of vodka for himself.

"you're still drinking that," sasha said and looked at the bottle of vodka that mykel had always bought back to the apartment. "you haven't changed at all," sasha continued as she moved aside so mykel could sit next to her.

"why would i change? i'm still the same guy you know. the worst kind of a guy," mykel said and he didn't hesitate to say it. "even after everything," mykel paused and looked at sasha's wrist. "you still have the heart to approach me," mykel continued and looked sasha in the eye.

"there's something that i want to tell you, mykel. this might shock you because i'm going to tell you the whole truth about what happened," sasha said as she looked down and hid her face.

"i have been wanting to know about that as well. why did i end up inside the novel world that you made," mykel replied as he leaned his back and then drank the vodka.

"i was the one who requested lucifer to send you there," sasha pointed out and she still hid her face from mykel out of guilt. "i made a deal with him with my life as its price," sasha added.

mykel looked at her and didn't say a word to let her tell everything to him.

"i was, desperate. i have nobody to talk to because of how you put me on a leash inside a cage. so one day, i had an episode of a nightmare that kept haunting me, and thought it was because of my depression," sasha paused and she felt uncomfortable talking about it. "those dreams felt so real and i could faintly feel the pain inside those dreams, but then one day a figure of an angel came to my dream and stopped the nightmare," sasha explained.

"i talked to this angel in my sleep, accompanied me during my loneliness. i thought i was imagining things and sick in the head until it showed me a sign of its existence," sasha paused as she cleared her throat. "it left me a feather, a white soft feather that was too big for a bird next to me when i woke up," sasha continued.

"at that time i thought i was special and helped me through the year, and gave me lots of inspiration to finish the book. but everything had come to an end, and what had left decided to come back again," sasha continued. "the nightmares were getting worse and it started to affect me physically because i started to have bruises on my body," sasha added.

luciel walked forward and stood next to elena with her long silver hair and beautiful pale skin. sasha and the others were shocked that even luciel was there and existed.

"since there's a problem with the virtue guild, i want to resolve this problem privately. so why don't you bring the redshield guild somewhere else and accompany them while they wait?" elena asked.

"with pleasure," luciel stared at lucifer with a cold gaze. "nefarath, frigna, deviatris, nephilim, glasya, kiersha, and beldathiel. you guys come with me, we have guests to accompany," luciel said.

sasha looked at each one of them and realized that they were the demon princesses who held seven deadly sins skills except for kiersha. she then looked at lucifer and his brothers and sisters, and also lilith who was in disguise. she knew where it was going, and why luciel brought her sisters to accompany them.

she turned around and looked at mykel who was smiling as he put a cigarette in his mouth. she couldn't believe that mykel actually knew about the current situation and who those people were.

luciel and her sisters guided lucifer and the others out of the hall, and when lucifer was about to walk past sasha, he glanced at her and smirked. they all then left the hall and mykel locked the door in front of him, preventing anyone from leaving.

knowing they were locked in the hall with them, danny and the others couldn't help but be anxious about it. before they could even prepare themselves, a barrier covered the whole hall and prevented them from using any of their skills. it was shelly's skill from [inanity] and created a magic that disables skills but could only last for a few minutes.

"we can kill all of you now, and erase one of the biggest threats in the world," elena said as she approached sasha. "but that wouldn't be fun, right? we have prepared the stage for everyone. we need the spotlights and let the whole world see it with their own two eyes," elena continued and stared into sasha's eyes.

"what do you want?" sasha asked with her eyebrows furrowed.

"what do i want?" elena asked back with her eyebrows raised and then glanced at mykel. "honestly, i want you to disappear. you're distracting mykel and it's really bothersome. do you even know that he has been patiently waiting just so he could see you?" elena whispered into sasha's ear.

sasha was surprised and looked at elena in disbelief, but elena's expression was genuinely angry and annoyed.

"she lies as she breathes. i wonder where she learned that from," aurea said as she stood right next to mykel.
