Chapter 198 Take it slowly.

Aurea dashed forward and appeared right in front of Yu Xi she was confident that it would startle her. When she swung her sword to decapitate Yu Xi, the body disappeared before her sword could cut her head off. She was impressed that Yu Xi could dodge it and she already knew that Yu Xi was on a different level than Lei Wu Xian.

"That wasn't an illusion? She's good," Lillith said as she looked around to find where Yu Xi was hiding. "If I can assume, this is like the Nigh-Omnipotence skill. She could do whatever she wanted inside her own world," Lillith added.

"Yes, but she's just a human, and human has limitation. It's either she can't keep this place for too long, or this place has a maximum radius. Either way, as long as she can't do anything to us, she's running out of time," Aurea said with a huge grin on her face. "I love people with arrogant personalities and make them tremble in fear," Aurea giggled mischievously.

They both wandered around and there was no sign of living after Yu Xi disappeared into thin air. They wondered if they were being trapped there as Yu Xi bought time to use her power to defeat them.

"Are you going to keep hiding? This isn't fun at all," Aurea asked as she spread her arms and showed her vulnerability.

"I'm not hiding. I'm right behind you two, and I have been here the whole time," Yu Xi answered and appeared from the thick purple mist. "You guys walked past me, and yet you didn't know?" Yu Xi asked as she hid her mouth with the hand fan.

Aurea and Lillith were convinced that they were being manipulated which made them unable to see clearly. It felt like they were inside an illusion world, but it felt so real and not at the same time. They didn't know how Yu Xi manipulated them, and how to deal with it or break from it.

"It would be boring if we use our power here, so let's try to have some fun with her," Aurea said as she stood beside Lillith.

"I'm thinking the same thing," Lillith replied and pulled her daggers out.

They both disappeared and reappeared right in front and behind Yu Xi. Aurea thrust her sword right into Yu Xi's chest while Lillith stabbed Yu Xi's back, but she disappeared again, and they both barely killed each other because Aurea almost stabbed Lillith's forehead and Lillith almost stabbed Aurea's heart.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Aurea asked with her eyebrows raised as she retracted her sword.

Aurea was stunned for a split second, and that only made her more excited, and slammed Yu Xi to the ground really hard. When she was about to grab Yu Xi, Yu Xi flew away and then floated above her with the ominous mist around her.

"Playtime is over," Yu Xi said as she sucked everything, including the shadows that she summoned. "I have gained enough information about you two, but my mission isn't to waste my time against you two," Yu Xi added as she kept floating and the world of mist had disappeared.

Yu Xi reached out her hand, and the mist started to circle and created a portal. When she was about to enter, she heard Aurea's scoff, and so she glanced at her.

"Kneel," Aurea said and her voice faintly echoed and it sounded like a faint whisper.

Aurea activated her [Lunacy] skill to test if it would work against Yu Xi. She saw Yu Xi lose her power and fell to the ground and hit her back on the floor. She then walked toward Yu Xi and grabbed Yu Xi's hair as she pulled her up to look at the face hidden beneath the veil.

"Who said that you can leave?" Aurea asked with a grin on her face as she stared into Yu Xi's eyes. "I'll let you leave once I said you can leave. I'm currently on fire, and you will have to play with me for a bit longer," Aurea whispered, and could see Yu Xi's shoulders tremble in fear because of her voice.

Lillith wasn't bothered and just focused on her surroundings which she found interesting. She realized that the whole building had been destroyed and flattened during their time inside the mist. It appeared they both weren't in a different dimension unlike [Nigh-Omnipotence] skill, and it was more like what Mara actually had, the [Void Cloud].

"Lilly, why don't you go ahead and go to Russia first? I'll catch up with you once I'm done here. I might take a while, so, just go," Aurea asked as she looked at Lillith over her shoulder.

"Alright. Have fun then," Lillith answered and then sheathed her daggers.

Aurea and Yu Xi watched Lillith leave and then she disappeared, leaving her afterimage. Aurea then pulled Yu Xi's hair back and forced her to look up at her who was smiling in excitement.

"Now, what should we do first?" Aurea asked and then showed her massive wings to Yu Xi who was already trembling in fear.

"Wha-what are you?!" Yu Xi asked with her eyes wide open with tears glimmering in her eyes.

"Well. we have all the time to know each other, so let's just take it slowly because I want to know everything about you," Aurea answered and giggled mischievously.
