Chapter 368 The power of the Queen.

Mykel didn't show any lust toward Elestria when she looked at his aura after she undressed in front of him. She was pissed and in disbelief when he wasn't interested in her and it started to make her inferiority complex go to the surface.

"Am I not attractive to you? Is she better than me?" Elestria clenched her fists as she held her anger. "I know she has a better body and people prefer her than mine. But I don't think I'm that different from her," she added.

Mykel walked toward Elestria as he removed his suit, and then put it on her body. He was smiling the whole time without saying anything and Elestria had no idea what that smile was for, was that a smile of pity, a smile of mockery, or if it had other meanings?

"If I have to choose, I will choose you over Lady Elysande, Your Highness. You're ambitious, cunning, fearless, and live up to your own ideology," Mykel said as he made sure Elestria's body was covered by his suit. "But you must be wondering why I chose Lady Elysande over you. The answer to that is simple, Your Highness. You don't trust anyone, and I can't be with someone who can't trust me for who I am," he answered and stared into Elestria's eyes.

"I'm a man of my word, and I would never betray Lady Elysande's love for anything else as she trusts me without having to ask for any proof. Goodnight, Your Highness," Mykel said and then left the room.@@@@

Elestria was stunned and speechless as she listened to Mykel's footsteps go further away. She was embarrassed, angry, and disappointed in herself for doing such a stupid thing.

The morning came and all the Gifted from the Faelethria Kingdom had gathered. There were two hundred thousand people gathered at the military base since today was the day they were going to clear the rift.

The same thing happened in the Verdentia Republic and Dystrovia nation where all the Gifted gathered to clear the rift. Zachary led the team from the Verdentia Republic while Javelin led the team from Dystrovia nation.

Elestria came to give a speech to them and to encourage them. She was wearing an unusual outfit, a white blouse, a black skirt, and black pantyhose. She looked sexy in those and everyone couldn't stop staring at the curves of her body.

"The time has finally come..." Elestria paused to unbutton her blouse. "And I'm not going to stay in the palace comfortably while my people risking their lives," she showed the undergarment she wore, a combat onesie garment.

The maids walked toward Elestria and put armor on her in front of those people. Then the Zero Tier Gifted came in and stood right behind her to join the raid with her. It shocked the whole world when they heard that Elestria had decided to participate.

Mykel was a bit surprised when Elestria decided to join the raid while Elysande was shocked by Elestria's decision. Elestria suddenly walked toward Elysande with a smile on her face and then grabbed Elysande's hands.

"What are you talking about?! No!" Elysande shouted with her watering eyes.

"You're saying that I'm going to be a burden, is that what you're trying to say?" Elestria asked and looked down at Sophia. "Well then, everyone gathers around! I believe some of you are thinking the same, so I will show you a bit of what I'm capable of," she ordered.

Everyone had gathered and then Elestria unsheathed her rapier and pointed it at Sophia. When it came to swordsmanship, Sophia was unparalleled compared to the other Sinners. Not to mention her brute strength was also in the top three with Duncan and Sabel.

"You can make the first move," Elestria said as she swung the rapier around.

Sophia tilted her head and then she dashed forward with her sword ready to cut Elestria in half. When she swung her sword, Elestria simply flicked her rapier at Sophia's hand, forcing Sophia's sword from slashing her. It happened so quickly and it shocked everyone including Sophia who was so sure that she could kill Elestria with that attack.

"What's the matter? Come at me again," Elestria said as she pointed her rapier up in front of her face.

Sophia who understood how skilled Elestria was at fencing, she didn't hold back anymore. She relentlessly swung her sword at Elestria, but she either missed her attacks or Elestria dodged them so easily. But that wasn't the only thing that happened because Elestria managed to make some cuts on Sophia's body and even on her face.

"Child play..." Sophia clenched her sword so tightly. "Your Majesty's attacks are so weak that I don't believe that would help us inside the rift!" she screamed as she swung her sword at Elestria with full power.

Elestria who knew she couldn't dodge it decided to repel the attack, but her rapier shattered when it made contact with Sophia's sword. She was disarmed, but she immediately lowered her head and ducked to dodge the sword. She then grabbed Sophia's arm and wrapped it around her right arm. She put her back on Sophia's chest and then used her back as a momentum to slam Sophia down to the ground.

It happened really fast and everyone was shocked that Sophia got outplayed by Elestria. They wondered how could a Queen that had been working on her desk could be a master in combat. That wasn't the only thing they wondered because Elestria's strength was too much for someone with that body.

Nobody knew about Elestria's power, only Elysande who knew about it and Mykel found out about the true power of her Aura reading skill. She could absorb the aura of the people around her and turn it into her own strength or to strengthen anything that she held. The stronger the aura and the emotion, the more power she took and made her powerful. That was why she wanted everyone to gather around so she could absorb their emotions and aura.

"Are you satisfied with the result?" Elestria asked.

"Yes, Your Majesty..." Sophia groaned as she stood up.

"What the hell was that? Is she always been that good?" Sabel asked Victoria.

"Nobody knows the hardship for a princess to become a Queen in this nation. To be eligible as a crown princess, she must train like a soldier and must be skilled in all arts. Martial arts, sword arts, survival, cooking, and even in art itself, so if you wonder how strong she is, she's as strong as an elite soldier," Victoria answered since she knew the harsh world of being royalty. "But I never thought that she would be that powerful. She must have something hidden under her sleeves. This is nice since we know now that she's someone that needs to be taken seriously," she pointed out.
