Destroying My Own World

Chapter 85 Behind my back.

Chapter 85 Behind my back.

"So? I don't find it a problem," Mykel said as he looked at Richard.

"I might think the same if the whole Redshield family didn't go missing. All the Redshield family seemed to be gone in thin air," Richard answered with a serious expression. "Someone is crazy enough to kill every member of the Redshield family, and that's why I'm trying to investigate it," Richard continued.

Mykel started to get intrigued by what had happened to the Redshield family and wondered who was brave enough to kill them. But Mykel had a hunch that it had something to do with the Dukes of Hell since they were the ones who could protect and kill the Redshield family, especially Alfredo. He wondered why they killed him since they should know that the Redshield family was the only one who had been supporting them.

"And? What do you want me to do? Go there and investigate it?" Mykel asked.

Before Richard could open his mouth, someone knocked on the door. They both looked at the door and saw Lyneth coming into the meeting room with a tablet in her hands. She hurriedly walked toward Mykel and showed something to him that surprised him.

"The Pantheon Guild is also leaving the Guilds of the World. That's not a coincidence," Mykel read the news with his eyebrows furrowed.

Richard who heard that immediately grabbed his phone to check on it as well. Then suddenly another piece of news came, and Lyneth turned on the TV to see the live report. There was a press conference, and they saw Agares sitting beside Dimitri which surprised both Mykel and Richard.

They listened to the conference, and Dimitri decided to join hands with the Redshield Guild. They were making an alliance and trying to make a better world with the power those two possessed. Unfortunately, the reporters weren't allowed to ask a single question, and they all had the same question in mind as Mykel and Richard. Explore stories at empire

Agares and Dimitri didn't mention the Guilds of the World at all, and it only brought more questions. When they talked about their goal, it was when they revealed their intention, and that was to avoid the Guilds of the World from monopolizing the whole world. It was the same cliche that everyone tried to say whenever they talked about the Guilds of the World.

"These two aren't supposed to be together like that. It's like seeing water and oil become one," Richard said in disbelief.

"Looks like something happened behind my back," Mykel said as he looked at his phone and saw so many messages from Magnus and the others. "If there's nothing else to discuss, I have other things to do," Mykel continued as he stood up.

"Are you going to investigate the Redshield family?" Richard asked.

"No. I don't care about them, and I'm glad they're dead because I have fewer problems to deal with," Mykel answered.

"You're a part of us, and you have to obey the rules," Richard said as he stood up and looked at Mykel with a serious expression.

"Obey the rules? Who's going to punish me? Alfredo's ghost?" Mykel asked as he looked at Richard over his shoulder. "Or perhaps you? What can you do?" Mykel asked again with his eyebrow raised.

Richard gritted his teeth as he stared deadly Mykel in the eye.

"Don't do anything stupid or I'll kill you and nobody will find your dead body," Mykel said and then left the room with Lyneth.

"Who are you people?" Kseniya asked as she walked toward them and blocked their path. "You're not allowed to be he-" Kseniya didn't finish her sentence because she was bewitched by Lilith's eyes when she looked at her.

"We have important business with your leader. Can you lead us to him?" Lilith asked.

Kseniya nodded her head and then escorted Lillith and Sasha into the building. She sent her team to leave so she could bring Lilith and Sasha to the throne room privately. Once they entered the throne room, there were four other people standing in front of the throne, and they were the other vices.

"What's the meaning of this?" Dimitri asked Kseniya as he looked at her.

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Lilith, and she's Sasha de Redshield," Lilith said as she walked to the front and waved her hand.

"Redshield?" Dimitri asked, and then he looked at his vices and tilted his head toward Sasha.

They all unsheathed their weapons, but then Lilith slammed the suitcase that she brought with her. It startled them, and stopped them from approaching, and then she looked at Sasha as she walked away and pointed at the suitcase.

"Open it, offer it to him," Lilith said.

Sasha hesitated for a moment, but then she walked toward the suitcase to open it, but the vices and Dimitri became on guard and tried to stop her. Lilith suddenly clapped her hand, and they all couldn't move a single muscle on their bodies.

"Please stand by and watch," Lilith said with a smirk.

Sasha opened the suitcase and the pungent smell immediately struck her nose. She was surprised when she saw what was inside, and then she looked at Lilith who was chuckling mischievously.

"Go on, show them," Lilith said.

Sasha picked it up and shocked Dimitri and the others when they saw a head in Sasha's hand. She then threw the head and landed right under Dimitri's feet. Lilith clapped her hand again, and everyone could move again, but they still stood still to process.

"That's the man you want to kill, right? And you don't have to worry because there's more," Lilith said.

Sasha pulled out six more heads, and they all were the candidates for the next head of the Redshield family. Dimitri looked at all the heads on the ground, and he was confused as to why they killed them.

"The Redshield family is gone, and there's nobody that can threaten you," Lilith said. "Now, how about we have a talk?" Lilith asked with a smirk.

"I'm listening," Dimitri said.
