Chapter 166 Where is the Tiger Grass?
Chapter 166 Where is the Tiger Grass?
"Oh! Ash, you're here!" Hagrid greeted Ash from afar, holding a big lantern.
"The spotted tiger grass you want is ripe!" Hagrid looked very happy, but the children around him were different, especially Ron, who seemed a little worried because of Malfoy's words.
He was worried that Ash really went to work for Mr. Malfoy.
"Why are they here?" Ash asked casually, "Isn't it bedtime?"
"Oh!" Hagrid said hastily, "They were punished by Professor McGonagall for confinement. I thought I would help you gather herbs tonight."
"I'm sorry to trouble you." Ash said, he nodded slightly as he watched the restless little wizards.
"You three little fellows of Slytherin, you follow me, Hermione, Ron, Harry, you follow Professor Embers." Hagrid said while holding Fang.
"It's faster if we split up," he explained.
"Yes." Ash also nodded in agreement with Hagrid's statement. He wanted to pick some tiger grass to make compound potion. After all, entering Azkaban was not an easy task.
Ron was relieved to hear that he was assigned to Ash, but Harry and Hermione were a little worried. They wanted to be familiar with Hagrid in the Forbidden Forest.
"Don't worry, kids," said Hagrid, patting Malfoy on the head, which caused him to give Hagrid an unpleasant look.
"The Forbidden Forest has been safe recently, and the eight-eyed spiders have rested." Hagrid said very reassuringly, "There will be no danger."
"It'd be better..." Draco muttered, he didn't want to meet Hagrid's best friend in the Forbidden Forest.
After chatting for a few more words, the two teams set off separately. Hagrid led the Slytherin trio to the west, while Ash led the Gryffindor trio to the east.
"Professor Embers, I heard from Malfoy that you went to his house as a guest!" As soon as the two groups separated, Ron couldn't wait to pull Ash and asked, "They are not good people!"
Harry nodded beside him, and even Hermione didn't say much, she hated Draco too.
"That's what happened." Ash said casually, his eyes focused on the herbs on the ground, "Mr. Malfoy wrote me a letter."
"My God!" Ron exclaimed, "Professor Embers, you must be careful!"
Ash was taken aback by Ron's words. He patted Ron on the head and said, "It's just a business cooperation."
As soon as he heard about the business cooperation, Ron, who didn't have many Galleons, shut up. He also knew the importance of Galleons.
"Professor Embers, did Snape trouble you?" Harry asked immediately, he was more concerned about Snape's affairs.
"He won't trouble me." Ash said as he flicked his wand lightly, and the fluorescent spell illuminated the dim Forbidden Forest. "Professor Snape is just being mean."
"He's not simply mean..." Ron muttered.
Even Harry couldn't help nodding: "He blows the black whistle at the Quidditch match."
"It was clearly a Slytherin player's foul, but he called Harry's foul." Hermione also explained, "It's so unfair!"
"But you won, right?" Ash said, "Professor McGonagall has been happy for several days." He never forgot how happy Professor McGonagall was when he handed in the lesson plans that day.
She wished she could hug the broom and kiss her.
"And, besides, Snape always finds excuses to deduct Gryffindor points!" Harry continued, and for a moment he wanted to tell Ash all his grievances against Snape.
In his opinion, Ash, who was at risk of being murdered by Snape, was undoubtedly in the same camp as them!
Hermione coughed slightly and interrupted Harry's complaints. She considered her words and said, "Professor Embers, is the Sorcerer's Stone in the school?"
Her words successfully caught Ash's attention. He turned his head and glanced at the three of them, and said clearly, "Hagrid didn't keep his mouth shut?"
That's not what Hagrid said... Harry muttered in his heart, of course, he couldn't say that he eavesdropped, and that wouldn't explain why he wasn't in the dormitory after finishing the fight.
Sorry Hagrid!
"The Sorcerer's Stone is indeed in Hogwarts." Ash thought for a while and said, "And it's in a very safe place."
"No no no..." Hermione shook her head, "Professor Snape wants to steal the Philosopher's Stone!"
"Huh?" Ash was stunned for a moment, he didn't expect Snape that you really did all kinds of bad things...
"Snape was bitten on the leg by Fluffy on Halloween night," said Ron. "He was limping the next morning!"
"And he must have released the troll!" Harry said with certainty, "It must be to attract the attention of the professors!"
Ash shook his head silently. Just as he was about to explain, he suddenly saw the shimmering herbs under his feet.
"It's right there." He knelt down and slowly pulled out the spotted tiger vegetable. "This is one of the ingredients of the compound decoction." He explained to the three of them.
"But you probably won't learn this potion this year." As he said, Ash put the grass in his pocket.
"There are still some around, let's pick some separately." Looking at the scattered herbs around, Ash urged the trio around him to act.
"I feel like I'm back at the Burrow..." Ron muttered, pulling up a herb. "It's like weeding a pumpkin patch."
"Your family also has a pumpkin patch?" Harry asked in surprise, "That must be interesting?"
"Damn..." said Ron, "every autumn a bunch of goblins come to steal pumpkins..."
"I know!" said Hermione, "They look like potatoes, and they're fierce!"
"Oh~(_)" Ron glanced at Hermione unhappily because of being interrupted, "Thank you for your answer, Miss Knowles..."
"Hi!" Hermione glared at Ron dissatisfied, "Don't mention that nickname." It's not because the nickname is bad, but because it was given by Snape.
"Snape is such a nasty guy..." Harry pulled out a piece of spotted tiger weed vigorously, but because of too much force, he managed to leave the root of the herb in the ground.
"Don't be too rude..." Hermione reminded: "Take it slowly..." As she spoke, she slowly pulled out a herb from the ground.
"She's like Hagrid who caught Fang's lice..." Ron muttered, putting the herbs in his hand into his pocket.
Seeing that the three of them had almost picked up the herbs, Ash nodded, took the pocket and looked at it a little.
"These should be enough." Ash nodded and said, "Let's go talk to Hagrid now..."
Suddenly, Ash's words stopped abruptly. He stared into the depths of the Forbidden Forest, and quickly drew out a rapier with his right hand.
"Stand behind me..." As he spoke, he slowly walked up to the trio and blocked them behind him.
"Yes, what is it?" Ron was startled, and he took out his wand in a panic, "No, it can't be an eight-eyed spider?!" He knew that there were many such things in the Forbidden Forest.
"Probably not..." Hermione whispered, "Hagrid said they all rested..."
"It's really not." Ash looked at the full moon in the sky and nodded slowly.
"It's much more dangerous than that..."
