Chapter 73 Taking Action
Chapter 73 Taking Action
A foot kicking from the side.
Fast and ruthless!
It hit the round-faced thug right in the waist.
"Bang!"
The round-faced thug felt a tremendous force coming from his waist. Before his fist could even land, he was instantly lifted off the ground and sent flying sideways.
He tumbled halfway through the air, crashed heavily to the ground, and rolled three or four steps away, like a rolling gourd.
"Ouch! My back! My back is broken!"
The round-faced thug curled up on the ground, clutching his waist tightly with both hands, crying and wailing in pain.
Qin Chuan slowly withdrew his foot; he hadn't held back at all in that last strike.
Although he hasn't reached the Blood Condensation Realm yet, this burst of power is something an ordinary person couldn't withstand.
He turned sideways, shielding Aunt Liu tightly behind him, his gaze sweeping over the remaining thugs.
The kick came so suddenly that the thugs were stunned for a moment.
When they came to their senses, chaos erupted.
"Who the hell are you?" The tall, skinny thug was the first to jump out, pointing at Qin Chuan's nose and yelling, "You dare to meddle in Iron Hand Gang's business?!"
The local thugs also swarmed around, their faces contorted with menacing glares, surrounding Qin Chuan, but none dared to make the first move.
After all, they had clearly seen the force of that kick, and no one wanted to follow in the footsteps of the round-faced man.
The local thug narrowed his eyes and sized Qin Chuan up and down.
He didn't rush to attack, but slowly said, "Kid, state your name. I want to see which fool dares to mess with the Iron Hand Gang."
"I'm also from the Iron Hand Gang." Qin Chuan took out his token and identified himself to the group.
Upon hearing this, the thugs exchanged bewildered glances. The thug leader also paused, sizing Qin Chuan up and down before frowning. "Iron Hand Gang? I've never seen you on this street before?"
The tall, thin thug next to him also came over, looking suspicious: "Kid, who are you with? Are you an imposter?"
Qin Chuan replied, "The one over at the gambling den, he's with Master Qian."
After a brief silence, the thugs burst into laughter.
"Hahahaha... Master Qian?" The thug leader laughed so hard he could barely breathe, pointing at Qin Chuan's nose, "So you're one of those guys who follow that old dog Qian!"
"A mere watchdog of the gambling den dares to come out and act like a big shot?" The tall, thin thug laughed even harder, shaking his head as he laughed.
Another thug stepped forward, poked Qin Chuan's chest with his finger, and said sarcastically, "Kid, why aren't you squatting at the gambling den entrance? What are you doing here in Ma Yi Alley pretending to be a hero? You're one of Qian Laogou's men, what right do you have to interfere in our business?"
The laughter subsided, and the thug leader's smile faded.
He took a step forward, glaring down at Qin Chuan.
"Kid, those old dog Qian's men don't carry any weight on this street." He held up two fingers and waved them in front of Qin Chuan. "Now I'm giving you two choices: either kneel down and apologize right now, or..."
He clenched his fists, making a series of cracking sounds.
"I'll make sure you can't even kneel down."
The voice has not fallen,
Qin Chuan waved his hand!
A cloud of white dust suddenly burst from his sleeve, spraying down on the faces of several thugs.
It was the lime powder he had prepared earlier.
"Cough! Cough cough, what is that!"
"My eyes! I can't see anything!"
Caught off guard, the thugs covered their faces and backed away, some rubbing their eyes frantically, others bending over and coughing violently.
The tall, thin thug choked on a mouthful of lime, hunching over and coughing so hard he couldn't straighten up, his face covered in tears and snot.
The local thug reacted quickly, instinctively turning his head and closing his eyes, but he was still covered in dust on half of his face.
He cursed angrily and swung his fist wildly forward, but missed completely.
Qin Chuan had been waiting for this moment.
Without the slightest hesitation, he suddenly exerted force with his feet, his waist and hips sinking down.
"call!"
A tiger pounce, accompanied by a sharp whistling sound, landed solidly on the chest of the local thug leader.
The local thug groaned, then felt a wave of dizziness wash over him.
When he came to his senses, he had already fallen to the ground, his chest was in excruciating pain, and his mouth was full of the taste of blood.
The remaining thugs were still rubbing their eyes and coughing, completely unaware of what had happened.
Qin Chuan turned around and lunged at the nearest tall, thin man.
The tall, thin man barely opened one eye and saw a blurry figure rushing towards him. Before he could raise his arm to block, Qin Chuan's knee had already pierced his abdomen.
"Ugh—"
Before the tall, thin man could even finish his pitiful scream, he was sent flying backwards like a boiled shrimp, his body arched.
The remaining two thugs finally came to their senses, frantically rubbing their eyes to barely make out the situation before them. Grabbing a nearby bench, their eyes red, they charged towards Qin Chuan.
But Qin Chuan was already prepared. As he dodged the bench, he delivered a powerful elbow strike to the man's chest.
"Bang!"
The man groaned and flew backward like a kite with a broken string, crashing directly into the stall behind him, scattering messy items all over the ground.
The last thug was terrified when he saw the bench miss its target and his companion being sent flying by an elbow, but he had no choice but to act.
He gritted his teeth, swung the bench, and swept it around Qin Chuan's waist.
Seeing that he couldn't dodge, Qin Chuan also lowered his waist and hips, raising his left arm horizontally in front of him to block.
"Snapped!"
The bench slammed into his shoulder and shattered.
Amidst the flying sawdust...
Qin Chuan's right leg had already swung out.
Swift as a whip tip, it lashed hard between the thug's waist and hips.
"what!"
The thug screamed and flew through the air, crashing into the earthen wall of the alley, then bounced back to the ground, rolled twice around his waist, and could no longer get up.
Qin Chuan steadied himself, took a slight breath, and slowly scanned the five thugs lying haphazardly on the ground from left to right.
From the moment the lime was thrown up to the moment the last person fell to the ground, it took only a dozen or so breaths.
Five thugs lay sprawled around the stall, groaning incessantly.
Qin Chuan patted the wood chips off his forearm. There was a red mark on his body from being hit by the bench, but his bones were fine.
Fortunately, thanks to the medicinal baths and tiger-style exercises I've been doing these past few days, my muscles and bones are much stronger than before.
Otherwise, that fight would have definitely resulted in a broken bone.
Qin Chuan walked up to the local thug leader, kicked him again, and then said, "If you're not satisfied, come find me at Heaven and Earth."
He turned around.
Aunt Liu was walking towards them, holding a rolling pin in her hand.
They clearly came to help, but I didn't expect it to end so quickly.
Aunt Liu's lips trembled as she stepped forward and looked at Qin Chuan's shoulder: "Are you hurt?"
"Not even a scratch." Qin Chuan smiled, then straightened the stall that had been knocked askew and tidied up the scattered goods.
As he tidied up, he lowered his voice and said, "Aunt Liu, don't worry about the spoiled stuff for now, go home first. Don't set up your stall for the next few days either. I'll get you some food and supplies."
Looking at the mess on the ground and then at the five thugs lying haphazardly, Aunt Liu remained silent for a moment. Suddenly, she gripped his arm tightly, her voice flustered yet stubborn: "Xiao Qin, you're a good boy. But Aunt Liu can't drag you down with this..."
"Don't talk about being implicated," Qin Chuan interrupted her. "Aunt Liu, don't worry, I'm also a member of the Iron Hand Gang. I have connections. If they want to cause trouble, let them come."
