I Pioneered Scientific Magic

Chapter 513: Do you know how many galaxies there are in the universe?

Chapter 513: Do you know how many galaxies there are in the universe?

"Please forgive our earlier offense, and thank you for your assistance," Harof coughed lightly, easing the somewhat awkward atmosphere.

"It's no problem, resolving the issues between the Empire and the Church has always been our longstanding wish," Bohr said with a smile.

"I have another question, what exactly is this divinity? Why can't even the power of a nuclear explosion destroy it?" Aurora asked with a grave expression.

"Only a more microscopic force can withstand a nuclear blast!" Albert Einstein responded.

Lynn, having once witnessed the peculiar nature of the divinity, could somewhat answer this question.

"Quantum, perhaps?" Victorio murmured this term coined by Lynn, recalling the double-slit experiment they had witnessed that morning, which could only be described as bizarre.

He had been considering whether to postpone exploring the microscopic realm, but now it seemed not only imperative to proceed quickly but also essential to find a breakthrough to destroy the divinity.

"Then who killed the powerful Moon Goddess?" Harof was even more puzzled by this question.

Aila had spent hundreds of years ruling this continent to gather faith, presumably to take control of the divinity and replace the Moon Goddess Diana.

The magnitude of power that the adversary possessed was evidently greater than any they had faced before.

Yet such a powerful being was killed, which instilled a flicker of fear in Harof's heart.

"Was the killer from beyond the portal of time and space?" Victorio asked urgently.

"We were not wizards when the Moon Goddess Diana died, so our knowledge is very limited; we only know that her death was very sudden, and the devotees lost divine protection soon after, leading to the Church's collapse within a few years," Bohr replied, based on the scant information obtained from the books in the Holy City.

However, he knew they needed to offer something different from the council's information from the Holy City books to enhance credibility.

So, Isaac Newton took over the conversation. "If you suggest that the being who killed her came from the other side of the time-space portal, that might not be the case. Our universe is not as simple as you think."

Victorio looked puzzled at the others, not quite understanding their point.

Harof and the others were quite regretful; he still had many questions he wanted answered from Bohr and the others, but unfortunately, time was running out.

About ten seconds later, the light from a supernova had completely faded, and the surroundings were once again enveloped in darkness, and the five individuals felt the repulsion, voluntarily disconnecting from the magical realm.

"Finally, it's over..." In the capital, at the residence of the Iyeta Academy, Lynn removed the Ring of Arcane, slowly letting out a breath.

Although the Secret Magic Society had helped him solve many problems since its establishment, the trouble it caused was not insignificant, and there was always the risk of being exposed.

Deceiving Harof and the others was not

an easy task; had it not been for the vast amount of knowledge far beyond his own capabilities that he had demonstrated, his cover would likely have been blown long ago.

Fortunately, most of the troubles had now been resolved, and the whereabouts of the legends within the Secret Magic Society were explained.

Lynn carefully pondered the loopholes in his statements, feeling that most could be reasonably explained; the most problematic would be the cause of the Moon Goddess Diana's death.

But statistically speaking, aliens definitely exist, who knows if it was their doing?

He had only suggested a possibility after all!

As for whether the council would later enter the time-space gate and seek Bohr and others' whereabouts... that was a matter of centuries ago. In such a long span of time, anything could happen, and evading should be easy.

With this thought, Lynn relaxed and picked up the research notes on the table, which depicted a massive signal tower.

This was the prototype of a magic base station!

To realize the mass production of wizards, this device and quantum computing technology needed to be developed.

As Lynn pondered how to improve it, the entire kingdom was already in uproar over his proposed quantum wave-particle duality and probability wave...

Today is a joyous occasion; Angel is engaged today! It's been so busy that I can only post limited pre-written content (juggling part-time work and engagement preparations, I really can't save much). Regular updates will resume tomorrow, no impact, and I wish everyone finds their ideal partner soon...
