Chapter 349: I Chose You
Chapter 349: I Chose You
Chapter 349: I Chose You"I do like elves and I’m interested in his abilities as a magician.
But I was never interested in him as a man.
How many times do I have to tell you?"
Even in her previous life, she didn’t get interested in Alwin romantically.
It was Ferdinand who got her attention and feelings though it didn’t end well.
"Ferdinand, I like you.
Just as you said you don’t care about anything else since you have me, I don’t care about everyone else either.
I have you now and that’s what matters.
I already chose you.
I chose you, and I mean it.
I don’t care about other men.
You are the only one that matters to me."
She emphasized that even if she seemed to care about others, it was not in a romantic way.
"I don’t mind your age either.
And I already accepted being your mate, right?
You have nothing to worry about.
I realized; I do have a bias toward pretty things.
But you my dear husband, are the most stunning and mysterious being I’ve seen in this world.
I love your dragon form and I love this human body of yours too."
Arabella cupped her husband’s face and caressed his cheeks with her thumbs hoping her words would penetrate his barriers now.
[Is she flattering me?]
Ferdinand’s face turned red.
"Y-you do?"
He stared at her with hopeful eyes, though he tried to hide it.
"Yes," Arabella gave her husband a peck.
Ferdinand was still bewildered though and just stared at her.
Every time he heard her say something he liked, he tended to think things could possibly be just his fantasy.
It was as if he was trying to protect himself from getting hurt.
He tended to deny what was already in front of him to prevent feeling disappointed, hurt, or embarrassed in case he misheard or misunderstood.
It was what made Arabella suspect he had already been in love before, but he got hurt and probably even rejected or left behind.
Or was it just his instinct telling him of what happened between them in their previous life even though he had no memories of it?
"Go look at yourself in the mirror sometime, hmm?
How can you not know you are so attractive?
You look so much better than any man out there.
You don’t lose out on Alwin either.
The two of you simply have different charms.
Alwin is princely.
But you, my dear husband, had the aura of a king, no. An emperor.
I like strong men, so I prefer you.
I once preferred the princely type, but I now prefer the kingly type," Arabella ended up blabbering to stop her husband from thinking he was just fantasizing about things again.
"My point is, YOU are the one I want.
My type doesn’t matter anymore because I already have feelings for you.
Do you understand?" Arabella ended up saying much more than she planned.
[Did she just confess? All her words just now keep pointing to it. Does she like me more deeply now?]
"You already have feelings for me?
By any chance, can I take it as you love me now?"
Ferdinand wanted verification to be sure he wasn’t assuming things.
Arabella turned red when she realized she just said it flat out.
But then again, they had already done more embarrassing things. She shouldn’t be too embarrassed about admitting her feelings.
However, she planned to say it in a more romantic setup when the mood was just right.
Instead, she ended up just saying it like this.
Still, it couldn’t be helped.
If telling Ferdinand directly like this would make him feel secure, then it was worth it.
"Yes, I do.
I think I’m already in love with you."
Arabella’s face turned beet red as she said it directly.
She was still embarrassed like a teenage girl.
Oh, wait. She was still one.
Her husband was wide-eyed and silent for a few seconds until a smile slowly curved his lips upwards and his eyes shined.
Ferdinand embraced her tight and kissed her happily.
It somehow felt so much better than usual.
Was it because her husband was elated?
"Arabella, you really mean what you said, right?" Ferdinand asked again after giving her a barrage of kisses that she could barely keep up with.
"Yes. So, you don’t have to worry about everyone all the time.
And Alwin is really not my type. So please don’t keep comparing yourself to him," she wanted to clarify once and for all.
She gazed at her husband, cupped his face, and gave him a peck to get his full attention.
"I love your body just as it is.
Your inscrutable green eyes looked like they had seen the entire world.
Your long silver locks that flowed like fountains.
Your lips that kiss me senseless and your deep voice that give me shivers.
I love these huge, calloused hands that touch me gently, these strong arms, this sturdy chest, these hard muscles," Arabella caressed what she mentioned.
From his hair, eyes, lips, throat, hands, chest, and abs.
"I love these long legs too.
Your strides are far larger than mine, but you always walk at my pace when you are with me.
And I love even this thing in between that’s already bulging and pushing against your pants before I even touched it.
I love how you long for me too and how considerate you are even in bed."
Arabella buried her shame and went all out.
"You don’t have to be insecure about anything.
I love you and your body, Ferdinand."
He does irritate her sometimes but she’s even finding it cute now.
Arabella realized she had already walked even deeper than she thought either.
She didn’t realize until recently that her feelings had already gone this far.
Or had it always been there and just revealed itself now?
"Thank you!
I’m so elated right now I don’t know what to do."
Ferdinand kept giving her elated kisses.
"I love you so much too.
I love you more than anything in this world."
