Aquaman's initial plan for activating the doomsday weapon was to sink the entire island of Britain and kill the Amazons who had not yet evacuated. However, after the launch, the scientists in charge of the weapon discovered that its output power was far greater than expected.

Captain Atom is a superhero belonging to the U.S. military. His pale blue skin, which shimmers with a metallic sheen, not only restrains the enormous nuclear energy within him, but also allows him to connect with the quantum field, thereby drawing upon theoretically almost inexhaustible energy.

Despite such a powerful setting, Joey's only impression of him was that the other party was a walking humanoid nuclear bomb. This is not a metaphor but a statement. Captain Atom often self-destructs for various reasons, and each explosion has a yield of at least hundreds or thousands of nuclear bombs.
