Chapter 1101: Unknown Domain III - Daniel Fang

Daniel was interested in the foreign energy systems. Rebecca was more excited but also vigilant of the energies around her. She sealed her body and covered her skin in an additional layer of origin energy to protect herself from potential injuries.

The three energies didn’t seem dangerous, but Rebecca didn’t want to absorb them accidentally in case her Analyzation was a mistake. Daniel, on the other hand, didn’t seal his pores. On the contrary, he opened his system to the three unknown energies. They didn’t seem dangerous to him, so he might as well experiment with them-

"This is interesting," Daniel muttered, attracting Rebecca’s attention. She turned around, only to scream at him, "Are you insane?!"

"What?" Daniel asked meekly. He was a god but Rebecca was capable of crushing his confidence instantly. All it took was a single scream.

"Why would you absorb the energies into your system if you don’t know what they may do to your energy system? I know they don’t seem dangerous, but your energy system is completely different from these three systems. What if the energies cling to your body while your energy system rejects them? This could lead to–...."

Rebecca was huffing and puffing, but Daniel could only smile faintly.

"The physical energy doesn’t do anything. I cannot absorb it. The same happens with this spiritual-attributed energy. They circulate through my energy system and can be expelled easily. It’s unfortunate that I cannot test their potency, though. I think it would be great to use those energies instead of the mind, soul, and body refinement techniques."

Rebecca sighed, "It’s good that you don’t have any issues. Still, you shouldn’t have acted so recklessly."

"I will be more careful when I do reckless things in the future," Danny smiled.

"That doesn’t reassure me, AT ALL," Rebecca cursed softly but nodded, "You’re telling me you will continue your reckless behavior. That’s okay...I guess I cannot change you either way. Let’s just say that you do this stuff out of my sight. Or...no, nevermind. Only do it when I’m there to help."Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Danny’s smile widened, but Rebecca flicked his forehead.

"I know. So, tell me about the magical energy and its properties up to the finest detail, or there won’t be anything between us for a long time." She still blushed, but the look in her eyes told Danny how serious she was—dead serious.

That being said, Daniel focused on the serious part of their exploration mission. He told Rebecca everything he knew about the magical energy and focused on a few more aspects before she was certain the energy wouldn’t hurt her either. Rebecca proceeded to access the magical energy and absorbed it as well.

Her experiments lasted several hours, and she devised even more long-term experiments to determine how well the magical energy would integrate into the origin system if it was kept there for an extended period of time.

"Can we visit the planet now? I’m curious about the intelligent life here. Can they use all three systems, or did they awaken different energy systems? What about the monsters? How did they evolve with so many different energy systems?" Daniel asked after a while. He was truly curious. How strong were other lifeforms? Was their prowess higher if they only used one of those energies? How strong were they physically if they only used the spiritual and magical energy? What if they could only use the physical energy?

There were so many questions and only so few answers. However, Daniel was excited nonetheless. He was curious to find out more about the unknown.

"Since when have you been so excited about researching stuff? That doesn’t seem like you," Rebecca frowned deeply, but Danny only shrugged with a mysterious smile.

"Who knows? Maybe your weirdness is contagious."

"Now it is my fault you are weird? Forget it! You and Michael are much weirder than I am! Compared to you and your brother, I am an innocent lamb!"

"Innocent? Yesterday night, you were anything but innocent," Danny teased Rebecca, who punched him again.

Okay. That was deserved.

Daniel couldn’t help but smile seeing Rebecca blush like that.

He loved this woman way too much!
