The small cloaked figure didn't even bother trying to hide this fact.

He even admitted it by saying these words.

It almost seemed like he wasn't surprised to be asked this question, but that wasn't because he wasn't surprised to be caught. It was more that the small cloaked figure had already figured that this was the case based on everything that happened.

Even though it was clear that he had been exposed and was trapped in enemy territory, it didn't seem like the short cloaked figure was panicking at all. The way that he was acting was as if he was trying to get information from Lin Fan.

The other members of the Huang Family seemed to have the shamelessness of their head rubbing off on them, so they started mirroring him.

Even though there were some that had tried to do everything that they could to ruin Huang Xie's life. It was as if none of them remembered anything that they did before with the way that they were calling to him.

Huang Xie couldn't help slightly knitting his brows when he saw them acting this way.

Eventually, Huang Xie asked, "Then is my mother a part of the Huang Family as well?"

The current head of the Huang Family was caught off guard when he heard this.

It seemed that he didn't really understand what Huang Xie was asking of him, so it seemed that he was having trouble answering this question. But at the same time, he could tell that the longer that he took, the worse it would be.

So in the end, the current head of the Huang Family just said, "Of course she's a part of our Huang Family. She's your mother and my wife, so how could she not be a part of our family?"

"Then why isn't she buried with the rest of the Huang Family?" Huang Xie asked in a cold voice.
