Chapter 415 Different level.
Chapter 415 Different level.
Elena and the others looked at Lyneth who stood at the front while Jeanne and the others stood behind her. She noticed that she couldn't find herself in that group or Mykel, and it made her wonder where her other self went. She then looked at Lyneth and her power didn't resonate with her, unlike her mother who was right behind her.
"Are you guys from the future?" Rozan looked at his other self.
"It's complicated. You won't understand because time and space are quite messed up in our world," Rozan answered and didn't know what else to say. "Well, you can say that we came after you. We are basically the product of what you're trying to do right now," he pointed at the paradox that Mykel and the others made.
It was so awkward because it was the first time they saw each other with their own eyes. Even Lyneth couldn't help but feel awkward when her other self stared at her with a disturbed expression.
"You said they're allies, but how do you know that before they even showed themselves earlier?" Elena looked at Mykel with her eyebrows furrowed.
"Let me explain," Lyneth said as she walked toward Elena, but then Elena took a few steps back because she was suspicious of her. "I'm here to help you, and to help ourselves," she pointed out and she was saddened that Elena was avoiding her.
Mykel brought them to the palace and separated the hall where Lyneth and the others sat on the left side while he and the others sat on the right side. He then explained to them about his first encounter with Lyneth and about the warning she had given him.
When Mykel told them what he heard from Lyneth about what kind of future that awaited them, they were shocked. Nobody believed her words and Elena was the one who was quite vocal about her disbelief and suspicions about Lyneth and the others.
"I know you so well that words won't be able to convince you once you're like this," Lyneth stared at Elena. "What about you fight one of us? You will understand the reason why your fate ended that way," she glanced at Jeanne and the others.
Aurea looked at Jeanne, and then Jeanne shook her head because she knew she could defeat Elena easily. Aurea then looked at Luciel and Luciel shook her head as well because of the same reason. She didn't want to fight Elena as well because she knew it would be a piece of cake for her.
"I'll do it if nobody wants to do it," Sasha said.
Elena looked at Sasha and she showed her hatred toward Sasha because back then she hated Sasha the most.
"Come outside then," Elena stood up and then left the palace.
Everyone followed them and stood in front of the palace while Elena and Sasha stood on the field quite far from the palace. Mykel and his team knew how strong Elena was and how untouchable she was. Nobody could defeat her and it would be a piece of cake to defeat Sasha since in their heads Sasha was a weakling, a tool that was used by all sides.
Lyneth looked at the mess and then simply reversed the damage with only her thoughts. She then noticed that Mykel was staring at her and knew she was the one who did it. She watched Mykel bring Elena back to the cabin so she could rest and regain her life energy.
Lyneth went into the cabin and saw Elena resting on the bed while Mykel and his Lyneth sat at the table. She could tell that Lyneth felt inferior to her and a bit jealous that Mykel was impressed by her.
"He's not my Mykel. I only love Mykel from my world and nobody else," Lyneth looked at her other self. "I'm not going to take him from you," she continued as she sat across the table.
The other Lyneth could see that Lyneth had gone through a lot based on how she was different from her. She felt bad, and she could understand what Lyneth was feeling knowing Mykel and Elena were risking their lives out there.
"How are you going to help us?" Mykel asked.
"By giving you the power to fight Aevia, but before that, you have to understand the power within your body," Lyneth answered. "Sasha will help you learn and you know why she's the one who can help you," she added.
Mykel nodded with understanding because he put Sasha's soul into his body so she could have the peace she had been longing for. He was the one who gave her half of his power and let her live within him and enjoy the life she had never had.
"You're going to suffer, and it's the only way," Lyneth looked at Mykel with a serious expression. "Elena and the others should deal with you first so they can awaken the power within them," she continued.
"It's the only way, and the moment you master Aevia's power, I want you to save them..." Lyneth frowned with sadness in her eyes. "We know that we won't be able to help them, and the only ones who can help them are you and Elena," she pointed out.
Elena who heard the conversation could feel the sadness and the desperation in Lyneth's voice. She wondered what Mykel and her other self had gone through out there. She then looked at Mykel and she would do the same thing for him if she was in that situation.
While Elena thought about it, she saw Mykel walking past the room and leaving the cabin. She crawled to the window next to her bed and saw him approaching Sasha who was sitting at the table near the tree on her own.
"Lyn... I mean Lyneth told me to learn the power within my body," Mykel said as he sat across from Sasha.
"Yes, since the power is originally yours and I only inherited it from you, but there's one request I want you to promise me," Sasha looked at Mykel. "Please keep her inside you and protect her little world. I don't want her to know and let her have her peace," she said as she looked at Mykel's chest.
"I promise," Mykel nodded with his eyes closed. "I will let her live in her small world," he assured.
"Thank you, and now it's time for you to taste your own power," Sasha grabbed Mykel's hand and transferred a tiny bit of the abyss into his body.
